College Description

1985 marked the beginning toward excellence when the College of Education was founded. In 1988, by virtue of DECS Order No. 39, s. 1988, the Teacher Education component was expanded through the offering of Bachelor of Secondary Education with specializations in Technology and Home Economics (THE), Math and English, and Bachelor in Elementary Education major in Home Economics and Livelihood Education (HELE).

Provides academic environment fostering quality and relevant teacher education programs. Trains students to be competent, committed, and caring teachers.

Vision

To produce teachers who create a conducive learning environment, utilize instructional technology, and foster Filipino and global values.

College Goals

The BISCAST College of Education aims to develop highly competent and committed teachers and leaders in scientific and technology education.
