The Naga City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) and the Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology will be finalizing the Master Plan for the 30-Year Sustainable Site Development Plan for the city.
Having forged an active partnership with the City of Naga by providing support to its projects, the College was able to provide extensive technical and advisory assistance in the formulation of 30-year Sustainable Urban Development Plan for the city which will be implemented in three phases. The project involves the integration of technology and research as means and resources for the project, which primarily aims to transform the metropolis into a resilient and developed city in terms of housing, urban transport, education, while turning it into a Smart City for sustainable living in the next 30 years.
Initially in the last quarter of 2018, a Design Thinking Workshop, and Finalization Workshops were done where the team worked intensively in crafting the Plan based on the information gathered, and the actual inspection. The Team had their final stage of planning and came up with a proposed prototype description most viable for the city.
