BISCAST, Naga City – The Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST) has once again proven its expertise in producing quality graduates as it placed 9th in the October 2018 Electronics Technician (ECT) Board Exam.

Based on the ranking released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), BISCAST registered an over-all percentage rating of 87.50% making it the lone school in Bicol Region to be included in the Top Performing Schools in the Philippines.

The BISCAST community has already expressed its congratulatory message to the passers who hurdled the examination last October 22.

According to Dr. Richard H. Cordial, BISCAST President, this achievement is a proof that the College is indeed gaining its momentum when it comes to licensure examinations.

Cordial said, “I am very happy and at the same time, proud of our students. But let us also give credit to the faculty of the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) for guiding our students and making them prepared for their exam.”

It can be recalled that in 2017, BISCAST was also recognized in the Registered Masters Electrician (RME) after being named as 3rd Top Performing School in the country after accomplishing an 88.24% passing rate.
