BISCAST has officially launched its Sports and Wellness Student Center last November 2017. The project is now an avenue for students to improve their performances in various regional and national sports competition.
The project costs Php 3,025,273.27 which was completed on May 28, 2017, after 9 months of construction. This project has a tennis court and two sepak takraw courts.
Dr. Isidro Bola, Dean of College of Trades and Technology said in an interview that he is hopeful that the Sports and Wellness Student Center and facilities will uplift the Spartans and the whole BISCAST community in terms of sports and development. He said that this will help the students’ performance especially when it comes to sports.
The Sports and Wellness Student Center is very timely since BISCAST has already opened the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPE) program.
Meanwhile, Senator Pia Cayetano sponsored additional equipment for the advancement of sports in state colleges and universities in the country. BISCAST received equipment worth Php 500,000 and was handed to Prof. Ana Sheryl Lynn Catura, Dean of College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).
