BISCAST, Naga City – The Bicol State College of Applied Sciences and Technology (BISCAST) focused the spotlight on 41 new licensed professionals in the Recognition Ceremony held last July 17 at ETC Function Hall.
Led by 3rd National Placer Irish Maravilla; 20 new architects, nine new Electrical Engineers, nine Electronics and Communication Engineer and two Electronics Technicians marched with pride and honor after passing their examinations in the months of June and April.
Maravilla aced the Electronics Technician (ECT) Licensure Examination with 89%. Said examination was conducted by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) simultaneously with the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination on April 2-4 in cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao.
On the other hand, the Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) was conducted by PRC on April 18-20 while the Architecture Licensure Examination (ALE) was on June 23-25.
Architect Jennifer Vibar, Dean of College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) presented the 2017 board passers and emphasized this new recognition for the college. She assured that the college will continue producing innovators and creators.
Meanwhile, Maravilla expressed how grateful she is and shared the challenges she faced before and during the exam. She said FAITH is very important which stands for focus, attitude, inspiration, time management, and healthy study habit.
The recognition ceremony was prepared by BISCAST Alumni Association headed by its president, Ms. Angelina Felizmenio.
